Blogorail - Disney New Years Resolutions

Welcome to those of you joining us from Pursuing the Magic and those of you just hopping aboard.  We are the 3rd stop on our Magical Blogorail.

On this month's Blogorail Blue loop we're ringing in the New Year by sharing our Disney Parks new year's resolution!  We've got lots of tentative Disney plans for 2013 - hopefully a visit to WDW for Star Wars Weekends, another stay at Port Orleans French Quarter - but these are things that we have already done at some point.  We figured our Disney Parks new year's resolution should be something we've never done before, and something long overdue for Disney parks fans.

Our Disney Parks new year's resolution is to FINALLY have a Dole Whip!  Yes, as strange as it may sound we have never tried a Dole Whip.  In case you don't know, a Dole Whip is a soft serve frozen dessert available at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom, and Captain Cook's at the Polynesian Resort, and also at Disneyland.  Yet despite numerous visits to Disney World, Disneyland, and a stay at the Poly we have never had a Dole Whip.

The Dole Whip is a beloved Disney Parks institution, and such an omission by us can be considered blasphemous amongst Disney fans.  At this point we won't jump into the Citrus Swirl vs. Dole Whip debate (another hot button topic), although if we're feeling really adventurous we might try the Swirl too.  We promise not to take sides though!

So in 2013 we promise to FINALLY right a wrong that's been going on for over 7 years of visiting Disney Parks - our Disney Parks new year's resolution is to FINALLY have a Dole Whip!
